50th Anniversary of Vietnam’s Reunification

sep

On April 30, 2025, Vietnam marked the 50th anniversary of its reunification (1975–2025) with large-scale national celebrations in Ho Chi Minh City, formerly Saigon.
The day commemorated the end of the Vietnam War and the reunification of the country, a defining moment in Vietnam’s modern history.

A solemn and impressive parade took place in District 1, bringing together more than 13,000 participants alongside thousands of spectators. The celebrations reflected both remembrance and national pride, highlighting Vietnam’s journey over five decades of unity.

As part of the official commemorations, our projection mapping show emphasizing on emotion, and collective memory was presented on the façade of Ho Chi Minh City Hall, transforming the historic building into a living visual narrative.

Our work focused on the creation of the video content for this projection. The visuals were designed to respectfully echo the historical significance of reunification, blending symbolic imagery, rhythmic motion, and architectural mapping.

Seen by a wide public in the heart of the city, the projection became a quiet yet powerful moment within the celebrations, using light and movement to honor 50 years of national reunification.
